With a new year in place, we continue our R&D into products and services that can be used to protect America.

It has been said that only 3 PERCENT of the cargo container ships that come to America, are searched for WMDs. There just isn't enough manpower to search every single cargo container ship. However, TachyonStorm has been working on developing a product that would allow 100 percent of the cargo ships - coming to America - to be scanned. TachyonStorm continues the focus on innovative new products and services, as we ready for a new and exciting year in 2004!

Our new focus is on highspeed distributed multipath communications using several frequencies and power levels - with the aim of bringing remote wireless broadband (via our Terrain Adaptive Technology™) to the utilities markets.

We are currently reviewing the projected budgetary outlook for 2004 as we continue our R&D in areas such as Plasma Wave Propagation and Terahertz RF. We are looking into the 'real time' distribution of large scale imagery using some new propagation techniques.

TachyonStorm is conducting new research for extending broadband (up to 2.5Gbps) wireless coverage through the province of Quebec in Canada. Our R&D will allow for remote (instantaneous) management of electrical utilities and other (infrastructure related) assets. We are focused on providing "Real Time" (Energy Management) tracking to allow for instantaneous (Continuity Checks) along the grid. Please contact TachyonStorm for more details.

Some new areas we are looking into include ruggedized personal communication systems for the battlefield. High speed, secure communications (mobile: VOIP, imaging, HDTV video and messaging) via next generation transmission methods. With our Terrain Adaptive Technology, we are able to provide end-to-end bandwidth intensive coverage at any spot on the planet.

HUB

It's all in the HUB!

A HUB by the way is made up of either four or six base stations. Each base station usually has either a 60 degree or 90 degree beamwidth. So to get full 360 degree coverage, you will need to have a fully complemented HUB.

Bandwidth-on-Demand

At TachyonStorm, we realize that the wired side of your network may have all the bandwidth you can handle (gbps) but if you want to deliver that bandwidth through the air to your customers, then you need a hub that can push out a large amount of bandwidth over several miles.

At TachyonStorm, we will focus on designing next generation Terahertz base stations that will push out hundreds of gigabits per base station. So as the mobile user travels around, they will be able to access the bandwidth intensive applications they require - either through a tower or via satellite.

What about bandwidth on the mobile front? Well let's just say that while others are sipping water through a straw, we are sipping water from the waterfall!

Security is important in this day and age. Our systems will allow for High Definition remote mobile surveillance of vital assets. With our systems in place, you truly can be in two places at once.
